Gabriella Bracaglia is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer for Prato Capital. Gabriella was born in London, England and was raised in Rome, Italy. At age 16, she moved to the New York area with her mother and siblings. Gabriella received her Undergraduate Degree in Mathematics from Marist College and her Graduate Degree in Mathematics Education from Iona College. Gabriella always enjoyed Mathematics and was hoping to inspire others to like it as well, so her first career was teaching High School Mathematics in both the private and public school settings. She joined Prato Capital Management in 2005. Fluent in her native Italian, Gabriella studied and passed the Series 7 Exam and more recently the Series 65 Exam.
Gabriella lives in Yonkers, NY with her rescue dog Bae Ha and her rescue cats Oates, Gus, and Victoria. She loves animals and dreams one day to own a farm in the country where she can take in several foster pets. Gabriella is not fond of the cold weather but in the spring and summer you can find her spending her spare time outdoors, hiking with Bae Ha or in the garden, tending to her flowers and plants. In the past 3 years she has been back to Italy to visit family in Rome and Capri. Her goal is to go back at least once a year for a short vacation.
